“I Had Zero Pain”
The day of surgery there were really no surprises. I felt well prepared. I felt I was in the best of hands. I felt so well taken care of. I had no pain; I’m one of those people who had… I have to say….zero pain. Of course there was a little bit of swelling, a little bit of bruising but that kind of discomfort didn’t relate to me as being pain. I was pain free.
Then the hardest thing for me to do during recovery was to relax for two weeks. It was just hard to stay settled and relaxing and not doing too much. That is a hard thing to ask a woman these days, for fourteen days, to stay quiet and allow your body to go through the recuperation process.
