Get ready Los Angeles!  We plan to shake it up in the world of cosmetic surgery for the face and neck.  We are tired of seeing people in magazines, the movies, and on television who look over done and unnatural.  We are heading to Los Angeles from September 23 – 27 2016 for the annual Plastic Surgery The Meeting where plastic surgeons from all over the world will come together to meet, educate, and share best practices.
This year, I have been invited by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (the organization that represents surgeons who are board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons) to design and moderate the sessions on cosmetic surgery of the face and neck.  I am honored to help them because the education of plastic surgeons on the very latest approaches and especially on how to achieve a natural appearing results is so critical in the care of their patients. As the moderator and as a speaker on this panel of experts we plan to discuss:
-Face and Neck Module – Part 1: Surgical and Non-Surgical Approaches to the Face and Neck: What’s New, What Works, Complications and How to Avoid Complications
-Facelifting combined with fat injections (includes resorbable suture-cone devices)
-Video Session: Controversies with Facelifting: Â SMAS, Redraping, Incisions, the “Natural Look”
With over 3,000 attendees from all over the world, Plastic Surgery The Meeting is the world’s largest gathering of plastic surgeons and surgical medical professionals. I am looking forward to taking part of plastic surgery’s most important event of the year. Stay tuned for a recap after The Meeting as I look forward to sharing the latest updates with you.
