Kim Shares Her Facelift Surgery Experience - Patrick Sullivan, M.D. Skip to main content

Kim, a past patient of Dr. Sullivan, shares her facelift experience with the audience our last Patient Seminar. Hear what she has to say:

I look like me only better!
“I am in the business of beauty, so as you can imagine it is really difficult to be in the business of beauty when you no longer look as youthful as you should. So I thought about it for a while, then I saw pictures, a profile of myself, at Christmas and I decided it was time. When you no longer look as youthful as you feel, it is time to have surgery. I had the advantage that I had seen many patients of Dr. Sullivanâ€s for about fifteen years in my practice. I would trust no other person but Dr. Sullivan with my work. My biggest fear was having the “big lips†or not looking like myself. The biggest compliment I had was that when I returned to work not a single person thought anything other than “you look great, you got a new haircut†or “you look great, you lost some weightâ€. And yes, I lost some weight. That was very reassuring to me. I looked like me only better, more rested, and more youthful. I do thank Dr. Sullivan and his wonderful staff. They couldnâ€t be more caring and wonderful!”

“There was literally zero pain. I did not even take one Tylenol. I could not believe that. That was also a big fear. A lot of people asked me “how was the painâ€, “what was the recovery [like]â€. For me the hard part of recovery was that I am very active, I exercise a lot, and you have to be inactive and immobile for a little bit of time. So that was the hardest part for me, was just staying still, resting and recuperating. But it was worth it, I just think its wonderful.”
