It was very humbling to be voted a top doctor in the annual 2016 Rhode Island Monthly’s Top Doc issue. Top Doc honors are chosen by their peers in a survey of whom they would send a family member to or entrust a patient to their care. It has been such a great pleasure to take care of the families of colleagues and also their patients. It has lead to some wonderful and lasting relationships that I value greatly.
Rhode Island Monthly’s annual recognition of Top Docs highlights physicians from vast specialties ranging from plastic surgery to cardiology and beyond.
Normally I am joined by members of my amazing team at the recognition reception this past Thursday, May 5th but this year I was in surgery with a patient until later in the day so I arrived at at the event towards the end.   The evening was still very enjoyable as I was able to congratulate other Top Docs for their accomplishments.
