One of the most rewarding aspects of Team Sullian´s work is the close relationships we develop with our patients. Developing a patient‘s trust is integral to the way we design and treat the patient. We want to know exactly what they are looking for so we can help guide them to the best treatment possible. And if we don’t think they are a good candidate for the injections we will tell them.
Maureen has earned her Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist (CANS)* certification and have had the opportunity to work and interact with multiple specialists in the cosmetic world as she always wants to bring the most optimal and advanced treatment to her patients:

Maureen had the pleasure of being trained by Dr. Jackie Yee in her office: Dr. Jackie Yee has an artist’s eye, a woman’s perspective, and a surgeon’s skilled hands to become one of the leading plastic surgeons in training others on highly skilled injections for facial contouring. She is board-certified in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and specializes in Aesthetic and Cosmetic Surgery.
Maureen has taken part in Cosmetic boot camp every year for the last 6 years: The Cosmetic Bootcamp (“CBC”) is 4 day educational program in committed to providing ongoing training and education to physicians and their staff in the core aesthetic specialties of Dermatology, Ophthalmology, Otorhinolaryngology, and Plastic Surgery. Non-Surgical Options
*What it means to be a Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist :
Founded in 1989, the Plastic Surgical Nursing Certification Board (PSNCB) was established to advocate the highest quality of plastic surgical nursing care via the development and implementation of stringent certification and recertification processes. In collaboration with the Center for Nursing Education and Testing (C-NET), PSNCB offers two certification examinations for nurses meeting particular criteria: the Certified Plastic Surgical Nurse (CPSN) exam and the Certified Aesthetic Nurse Specialist (CANS) exam.
In order to be eligible to take the CANS exam, an individual must:
· Be currently licensed in the United States as a Registered Nurse
· Work with or in the practice of a doctor who is board-certified in Plastic Surgery (or specialties including Facial Plastic Surgery, Dermatology, and Ophthalmology)
· Have at least two years of experience as a Registered Nurse in one of the aforementioned specialties
· Have spent a minimum of 1,000 practice hours within one of the aforementioned specialties during the past two years
· Have an endorsement from one’s supervising physician
CANS certification is supported by the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), and it provides professional recognition for aesthetic nurses who hold the value of education, clinical practice, and professional growth in the highest regard. Ultimately, CANS certification can assure you that your aesthetic nurse has gone above and beyond to ensure you receive an optimal level of care for your cosmetic needs.
